What Happens to my old fridge?
Your old fridge is picked up and dropped off at our storage facility. Once we have a bulk amount of refrigerators we haul them to a local recycler where the freon is properly contained and the materials (plastics and metals) are separated out.
Cost of Refrigerator Pick Up and Recycling
At Busby we charge by the volume that you fill up in the truck, a standard refrigerator is the volume price of a minimum load plus a freon removal surcharge ($87.50 + $35 = $122.5).
